Big Sean, the 24 year old rapper that signed to G.O.O.D music is probably one of my favorite rappers to date. While he has his club and radio hits “Dance A$$”, “My Last” and “Marvin & Chardonnay”, appearing a bit cocky, he can also remain humble, something many rappers can’t become. Watching the BET awards two weeks ago, I listened to his short speech after winning a best new artist award. After thanking his momma and God, something we all know too familiar with black music artists, he said something that all music artists should take into consideration. Ending his speech with “when you start doing what you love, then you will start living the life you wanna live”. I look forward to what Big Sean has in store not only for G.O.O.D music, but for his fans as well.
