The rapper Gorilla Zoe album was set to be released on June 24, 2011 but according to reports.
eOne Entertainment has joined Atlantic Records and Block Entertainment in releasing Gorilla Zoë’s third studio album, King Kong back on March 22, 2011. Previously, the major and the independent labels have collaborated with other southern rappers, such as Hot Boys’ B.G. and Juvenile releases last year.
King Kong finds the “Hood Nigga” hit-maker picking up where last year “Don’t Feed Da Animals” left off, which prompted the popular, single “Lost.” This will be the Boyz N Da Hood’s first solo album without the involvement of Bad Boy Records or Sean “Diddy” Combs.
eOne’s President Alan Grumblatt said, “I’m thrilled to be working with Block Entertainment and Atlantic Records. Gorilla Zoe is a great artist and Block is music visionary. Three labels are better than one!”
UPDATE: King Kong was released on March 22, 2011. Either way to me it’s not a good sign anytime a rapper pushes back his project it’s because the music is not up to part. In other word Mr. Zoe is still looking for hit songs… Good Luck to Gorilla Zoe!
