On December 16, 2010, Atlanta Rap Super Star Gucci Mane, real name Radrick Davis, was arrested at the home of rapper, Waka Flocka, real name, Juaquin James. [TMZ] is reporting that weapons and marijuana have been found on the premises and that prostitution may be involved. Waka Flocka’s mom, Debra Antney told TMZ that the police were looking for evidence of gangs and drugs. Wacka Flocka has not been arrested but sources say he is being sought by police. Law enforcement sources in Henry County tell TMZ, cops are investigating possible prostitution.[Soft Break]Also according to neighbors, there were four cop cars parked outside. And that Waka was not the house.
Two men were charged and arrested after the raid on the rapper’s house at about 7 am Thursday Dec 17, 2010 in Stockbridge Georgia by Henry County police. Although the rapper, Waka Flocka lives at the home, he rents it from someone else, police said. Inside the home, police found two handguns, a small amount of marijuana and prescription drugs, this is all according to Henry County police. The two men that were arrested on marijuana charges, are suspects 20-year-olds Johan Antney, of Jamaica, New York, and Tyrell Mingo, of Stockbridge. Bolton a police officer for Henry County states charges were pending on at least one other person. Guess who? Waka Flocka Flame. Later that day Gucci Mane was released from jail.
After Waka Flocka decided to turn himself in to the police a couple of nights after the raid that took place at the home he rented. He was released from jail. The rapper posted a $40,000 bond and was released from the Henry County jail on January 5, 2011. Although Waka wasn’t at the house during the bust, he was charged with marijuana and hydrocone possession, firearm possession of a felon, probation violation for driving with a suspended license and violating the state’s Anti-Gang laws. Additionally, he’s been charged with violating the terms of his probation for possessing a shot gun earlier in the year.
According to sources Waka Flock Flame states “I don’t even know,” the rapper said, in regards to what caused the raid. “What did they come in here for; to get some signed CD’s? They’re stupid. They knew everybody’s name too…They were groupied out.” Why would I try to rap and then street gangbang?” “That’s hustling backwards. I’m good. I dropped the album Flockaveli, and its doing numbers. I think ‘No Hands’ is platinum or on the road to be. I’m in the top three albums of the year…I’m going in, man.” Stayed tuned for his verdict still pending………
