HIP-HOP CROSSES OVER…WITH MATTEL?!

Hip-Hop Socialites aka “DADDY’S GIRLS” Angela and Vanessa Simmons have recently launched a deal with Mattel—
Barbie that is! ‘Pastry So In Style Dolls’ are swagged out in-all Pastry everything—from Pastry tennis shoes to cute
fashionable Pastry ensembles!

The venue was packed with in style celebrities even before Vanessa and Angela made their fashionable entrance into the party wearing their custom-made Barbie dresses.

While wearing a custom made Barbie Dress by Mattel—Angela shares her beauty philosophy:

“To me it’s all about being natural. I think it’s prettier to be natural than anything else…I tell the make-up artist
to keep it simple and bronzy. I don’t like too much around my eyes. And I don’t like much on my lips. I usually
just ask for clear on my lips and they get mad. Once in a while I’ll do red, but I’m pretty simple when it comes to
makeup, unless it’s like a crazy photo shoot.”

The Pastry/Mattel collaboration launch wasn’t just about the dolls, but also about the doll’s footwear! The Barbie
range is bold and beautiful, featuring everything from sandals to sneakers. There are a lot of bright neon colors
and more subdued black and white colors, accented with a touch of color such as pink or turquoise. The shoes are
girly, glam and fun! They are the perfect look for this season for anyone or any…Barbie.

There are four Pastry So In Style dolls available—each with a different look and style, giving young girls the chance
to have some dolls with real hip-hop swag!

Well, these days—especially these days—it’s nice to know that Hip-Hop is still paying attention to the kids!
